Well, this has been my very first attempt at being prompted.
I've not really had much time for art. I guess that I don't think I have much talent. But I do like to cut and stick.
So this is all this is, mostly collage with a little stamping. The green and blue background is canabalised from a childrens book (I managed to harvest a whole bag off kiddy books from the library for the princely sum of £2.50).
The of course kissing demanded a big lip stick print and text is from 'spell with flickr'.
The statuary 'ass' though must confess did struggle not to spell it 'arse' - it's a Brit thing. Anyhoo statuary - I loved this image. I was looking at female nudes, gals with ink, but a sudden whim got me looking at statuary. I just thought it worked, the lass with the ass is as cool as marble. It seemed fitting that she'd use such frank language.
It was finished off with some black embossed paper and computer generated text of the song prompt. So nothing too taxing. However, it was the first time that I scanned my end project straight onto pc - and I must say it's fab - makes a much clearer image than a pic, really captures the textures better.
